**How fast is a quote, really?**

Right now: 24 hours from a complete spec. If something's missing — a connector part number, a strip length, a test requirement — you get a note telling you exactly what to send, not a delay with no explanation.

**What files do you accept?**

Drawings (PDF, DXF, STEP), BOMs and wire schedules (XLS, CSV), EPLAN and Zuken E3 exports, or a photo of the harness you are replacing. A rough sketch with connector part numbers and lengths is enough to start.

**Are my uploads protected?**

A mutual NDA covers your files before they're shared with anyone, uploads are encrypted in transit and at rest, and your files go only to the manufacturers qualified for your project.

**Who actually builds my harness?**

A vetted manufacturer from our network — matched to your requirements and audited before it is eligible to receive work. You deal only with Vernex: one quote, one contract, one invoice.

**What are the lead times?**

Production lead times start at 10 days. Prototypes are usually faster; large series depend on connector and wire availability, which we check at quote time and tell you about up front.

**Can you supply IPC-620 certification?**

IPC/WHMA-A-620 certificates for your assigned manufacturer are available on request, along with first-article inspection reports, continuity test records and lot traceability.

**Is there a minimum order quantity?**

No. One piece is a real order. Prototypes, pilot batches and production series go through the same intake and are priced from the same things — materials, operations, quantity, the tests you name — and there is no minimum on a quote either. We build from prototype to mid-volume series; dedicated-line mass production is the one thing we do not quote.

**Do you build small series and short runs — and how fast?**

Yes. A fixed price comes back within 24 hours of a complete spec; production starts from 10 days, and prototypes are usually faster. Small runs go through the same intake as series, with no minimum, and connector and wire availability is checked at quote time — so you know the lead time before you approve the price.

A harness is multi-branch. Where your drawing has two ends and no breakouts — or a flat, coaxial or heavy-gauge construction — it is quoted on one of these instead.
